HI…I came over from Hilary's Crazy as a Loom\”…I'm really enjoying reading your past and present posts. Kind of funny because lately I have been planning my \”great escape\”…if only in my mind and Vermont is where I would love to live for a year. And being an almost Arizona native girl that would be quite the change…but still.
Vermont WOULD be quite a change from Arizona. Here are some things I love about this state: the landscape, the progressive social and political outlook, the high proportion of writers and artists in the population…not to mention the absence of highway billboards. Winters are long, but beautiful, and spring is slow to arrive. Shopping is scarce, but you can always find parking.
