Their aim is paradoxical: to come up with an animal that looks like it just walked out of the jungle before jumping up on your lap. This is not an easy task, and many \”mistakes,\” both physical and temperamental, are born in the process.
For the moment, I am free from this obsession. I like a fluffy, cuddly-looking cat, because I am well aware of the wildness that lurks inside. What about you?

Fluffy and cuddly is good. I will admit to wanting to run my hand along the beautiful coats of the leopards I've seen on safari, and the lion cub was fluffy and cuddly, and the male lions roll on their backs begging you to rub their tummies. But do I want them at home? No.
If cats were big enough, they would eat you.
I have a recurring nightmare that my basement is full of lions and tigers that I have foolishly gotten because I thought they were beautiful, and now I'm scared to go down there to feed them.
But first they would play with you.
Cats have always intimidated me; I relate better to dogs. Do you still have one?
Having just seen Life of Pi last night, I'd rather not have a cat that looks like Richard Parker in my house (or boat).
